THINGS TO DO IN THAILAND
THAILAND: A FIT AS A FAMILY DESTINATION
There are already many reasons known to visit Thailand. It is known for tropical turquoise beaches, affluent royal palaces, prehistoric ruins and metaphorical temples displaying figures of Buddha. In Bangkok, the capital, an avant-garde cityscape beholds the iconic temples of Wat Arun, Wat Pho and the Emerald Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Kaew). Thailand does not sleep at night & is full of night life. If you are a party animal you can go club hopping & enjoy till sunrise. For all the shopaholics, you can keep shopping as the malls bet you the best of choices from bags to watches; shoes to dresses or whatever your wish list is. There are innumerable beautiful islands which keep welcoming tourists with open arms. I recently visited Thailand; both Bangkok & Phuket with Tourism Authority of Thailand. Phuket is one of such lively island which is always bustling with life. Beaches have white sands & clear emerald blue water. I stayed at Hotel Movenpick, which is at Karon beach. The beach has so many water activities like parasailing, banana ride etc to offer you & your family. People are hospitable & willing to help you in all possible ways. Food is delicious & vegetarian food is easily available.Indian restaurants are also there, so need not worry about food.
After coming back from Thailand, I asked a common question from people I know, “Have you visited Thailand? If yes, who accompanied you?” A common answer given to me was with their group of friends. They feel there is not much for their children to explore. A well known India’s Tech Guru Rajiv Makhni travelled with us along with his wife & 2 kids. Well, I will give you innumerable reasons to visit the “land of smiles” this time with your Family.
Bangkok has a colossal Siam park which is full of adventure for kids & adults too. It has countless gratifying rides & Water Park too. Phuket has Dolphin Bay, Fantasea world- the ultimate cultural theme park, Vanich Farm, Racha Island & much more to explore. I will be sharing details about them in my next posts. Check out this video which will speak a thousand words, giving you all the reasons you must know.
P.S.- Thailand trip was hosted by Tourism Authority of Thailand.
