Time to Watches, a record-breaking event, attracted over 7,000 visitors, a 20% increase from last year. The 52 participating brands showcased the latest innovations from 10 different countries, attracting 2,300 watchmaking professionals, media representatives, and retailers. The event also featured four members of the Horological Academy of Independent Creators (AHCI), including Vincent Calabrese and Antoine Prezusio.
Time to Watches opened with Nathalie Fontanet, State Councilor of Geneva, Yves Bugmann, and Lada Umstätter. The opening evening featured a casual raclette and a Watch & Match day, allowing 26 exhibitors to sell their watches directly to consumers.The week saw discussions with industry experts on topics like women in watchmaking, ‘no branding’, AI impact on photography, design trends, ‘Pilot’ watches, and the best retail, selective distribution, and online sales strategies.
