Saudi Arabia’s national airline, has attained top global rankings for on-time performance, according to Cirium’s June 2024 report. According to the report, Saudia achieved a remarkable on-time arrival percentage of 88.22% and an on-time departure rate of 88.73%, while operating 16,133 flights over its broad network of over 100 destinations on four continents. This achievement is particularly noteworthy given that June is a major travel month due to the Hajj and summer vacations.
Saudia has continuously placed among the top 10 worldwide airlines for on-time performance in the last year, demonstrating its dedication to providing great quality and aviation safety. The airline’s operations are managed by the largest Integrated Operation Control Center (IOCC) in the Middle East, which oversees all elements of operations via a complex system integrating numerous sectors and group entities. This center uses cutting-edge airplane communications technology to ensure smooth operations by monitoring all takeoffs and landings in real time at both domestic and foreign sites.
