AN ADDITION TO THE OETKER COLLECTION

Hotel La Palma in Capri, Italy the 11th hotel in the Oetker Collection chain, has just opened its doors. The opening of the brand’s first Italian property is a real turning point for the ultra-luxury hospitality firm, in keeping with Oetker Collection’s objective to meticulously build its portfolio of Masterpiece Hotels in the world’s most desired locations.  In addition, Hotel La Palma is home to brand-new pool deck complete with an elegant pool bar – Aqua Bar & Pool – which pays homage to the ‘classic Capri’ of the golden age.

The hotel’s room count was dramatically reduced during its 2,5-year refurbishment from 80 to 50 rooms, including 18 suites, each with a separate balcony or outdoor space. It is Francis Sultana’s first hotel project, and it has a spectacular reconstruction. Two restaurants and bars, a spa, a freshly constructed pool deck, and a private beach club are all included in the Hotel La Palma. It is ideally situated for visitors to view some of Capri’s most famous landmarks. Hotel La Palma is a gourmet’s paradise in true Italian style with Gennaro’s restaurant, bar and patio, run by Chef Gennaro Esposito, Italy’s culinary star.

The Hotel Spa offers to rejuvenate and relax. Three treatment rooms, including a double suite, and a separate beauty cabin are available in the wellness section. Additionally, it also offers fitness centre and a space with sensory showers, a salt room, a sauna, and a Turkish bath.

Mediterranean blue, green, and turquoise are calming colours that go well with the natural design of the hotel interior and let materials take centre stage to create peaceful, tactile, and ultimately pleasant spaces. Each room opens out to a marble and bronze-lined bathroom that embodies Francis’ distinctive style.
