On Monday 26 September 2022, the High Commissioner of Malta to India in New Delhi, H.E. Reuben Gauci, and his Spouse, Dr. Olga V Gauci hosted a large gathering of VIP guests in order to celebrate the 58th Anniversary of Malta’s attainment of Independence on 21 September 1964. The reception took place at the Ambassador Hotel in New Delhi.
The Chief Guest for the event was the Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture, H.E. Meenakshi Lekhi.
On her part, Minister Lekhi affirmed that Malta and India relations are strong and spoke with fondness about her recent Official visit to Malta in August 2022.
