On 18th April 2024, the High Commission of Mauritius in New Delhi celebrated its National Day. The event was commemorated by H.E. Mr. Haymandoyal Dillum, CSK, High Commissioner of the Republic of Mauritius to India. He highlighted the significance of Mauritius’ National Day in fostering national unity, diversity, progress, and commemorating the country’s historical achievements. The event also emphasized the importance of strengthening the diplomatic relations between Mauritius and other countries. Many diplomats and other VIPs were seen attending the event. A Mauritian dance performance was also enjoyed by the guests, at the evening.
