New baby of Saudia Airlines to fly in the Sky

The national airline of Saudi Arabia, SAUDIA, has announced the acquisition of the Airbus A321neo to its fleet as part of an expansion. The A321neo is a narrow-body airliner, member of the A320 family, the most widely used single-aisle aircraft family in the world. It is renowned for its high performance and outstanding comfort.

The ability to run with much less fuel incorporating Sharklets, new fuel-efficient engines and latest cabin innovations has saved 20 million tons of Co2 since the A320neo came into service globally in 2016. This aids in SAUDIA’s goals for growth, since the airline hopes to increase its fleet by 20 A321neo aircraft by 2026.

By boosting the customer experience, enhancing safety, and promoting environmental sustainability, it contributes to the goals of the Saudi Aviation Strategy, which aspires to make Saudi Arabia a leader in the worldwide sector. The expansion of SAUDIA’s fleet helps creating new job opportunities for pilots, cabin crew, and other operational positions.
