Our committed team is what sets us apart. Each member feels a part of the great family of Palazzo Castri and contributes to creating a memorable hospitality experience for each guest. Our team is mainly composed of women who excel in the hospitality field. Our service strives for five stars thanks to our dedicated team and excellent facilities, including a spa, garden, a restaurant and a bar. Palazzo Castri is an oasis of relaxation and wellness in the heart of the city.

How do you consistently uphold the high standards of service and luxury at the hotel?

Each department is led by a carefully selected supervisor who has been with me for several years, so they know our service standards very well. We are always committed to excellence, which drives us. Everyone is keen on doing their best and going beyond guests’ expectations. Receiving positive reviews is a success for everyone, and we always celebrate these team achievements.

Q: What steps has Palazzo Castri 1874 taken towards sustainability?

A few months ago, we embarked on a delicate path toward obtaining sustainability certification, a tool that guarantees our guests, travel agencies, and intermediaries certain sustainability characteristics according to precise criteria and parameters. It serves as a “seal of quality” for accommodations. We currently meet four out of nine required sustainability requirements, focusing on human rights, health and safety, customer management, and community involvement.

What innovative marketing ideas do you have to attract new guests while preserving Palazzo Castri’s unique charm and elegance?

We believe innovation is key to success in the hospitality business. Many new hotels are opening, so we must keep up the good work without losing market share. Technological improvements can enhance the guest experience while making our job easier. We are well-known internationally, but we are also focusing on strengthening our position in the local market by attracting locals to use our facilities (Spa, bar, restaurant) independently of accommodation.

Tell us about the things, one can do around the hotel?

Guests can enjoy various activities, including city tours of Florence and nearby Tuscan cities, visits to wineries in Chiantishire, Vespa tours in the countryside, and cooking classes for pizza, pasta, and gelato making.
