October 9th 2025, Sibi George, Secretary (West) Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) attended the National Day celebrations as the Chief Guest in Delhi, hosted by the Embassy of Uzbekistan. Extended warm greetings to the people and the government of Uzbekistan. H.E. Mr. Sardor Rustambaev, Ambassador of the Uzbekistan to India welcomed all the guests. Secretary (West) highlighted our deep rooted ancient civilisational ties and also reaffirmed our commitment to the strategic partnership between India and Uzbekistan.
