On 30th August 2024, the High Commission of Jamaica in New Delhi celebrated its 62nd anniversary of Independence at The Grand Hotel, New Delhi. The event was commemorated by H.E. Mr. Jason K.M. Hall, the High Commissioner of Jamaica to India. The Chief Guest was Jayant Chaudhary, Honorable Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Minister of State for Education. The High Commissioner spoke about Indian-Jamaican relations. Jamaican vibe was prevalent with Jamaican music which kept everyone on their toes. The lucky draw kept the guests hooked. Many diplomats and other VIPs were seen attending the event.
