On September 3rd, the Chinese Embassy in India held a reception to welcome the arrival of their new Ambassador, H.E. Sun Weidong and his wife Dr. Bao Jiqing at Shangri-La’s-Eros Hotel, New Delhi. Many guests attended the reception, including representatives from Indian and China.

Appointment of the New CEO
Grover Zampa Vineyards, the longest standing and most awarded winery in India has announced the appointment of Mr Vivek Chandramohan as Chief Executive Officer.
Mr Vivek Chandramohan with nearly 26 years of distinguished experience in the Alco-Bev arena, hailing from Bangalore later joined Bacardi-Martini in an entry role, steadily rising to a senior regional sales position. He was associated for nearly 7 years with brands such as Bacardi, Bacardi Breezer, Glenfiddich, Grants and Grey Goose and liaised extensively with the National Marketing and International teams. Following this, he worked with AB InBev at a Region Profit Centre Level and with Modi Ilva ( Illva Saronno,S.p.A – Italy) as their National Sales Manager. In 2012, he joined Grover Zampa Vineyards at their Mumbai Head Office at a Lead Sales role and then appointed to a role of Vice President of Sales & Distribution. His success in this position, growing sales significantly (over 10% CAGR volume growth) and professionalising the team, has led to his recent appointment as Chief Operating Officer and a quick escalation within 6 months to Chief Operating Officer.
Speaking about his new role, Vivek Chandramohan said, “I am delighted to be associated with Grover Zampa Vineyards, the most prestigious wine producer in India.
