Bvlgari unveils an Extraordinary High-end collection

On 20th May, in Rome, Bvlgari unveiled its new High-End Collection Aeterna, celebrating its 140th anniversary. The collection includes over 500 creations, including high jewellery, watches, bags, and fragrances. The event was held in Rome’s Terme di Diocleziano, part of the Museo Nazionale Romano.

The 13-hectare Roman Baths, built between 298 and 306 AD, were visited by international guests including Bvlgari Brand Ambassadors Anne Hathaway, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Liu Yifei, Shu Qi, Hikari Mori, and Alessandro Gassman, where the Terme di Diocleziano’s beauty and performances transcended time.

Bvlgari Brand Ambassador Priyanka Chopra Jonas wore the Serpenti Aeterna necklace, the most precious High Jewelry piece ever crafted by the Roman Maison. The Terme di Diocleziano hosted a spectacular jewellery show, featuring iconic cast members. Before the show, guests participated in a poetic duet by choreographer Sadeck Berrabah and ballet dancer Eleonora Abbagnato, celebrating Bvlgari’s ability to fuse past, present, and future. Bvlgari hosted a gala dinner at the Baths’ Chiostro di Michelangelo, featuring a live performance by Elisa.

The event featured an immersive installation, ‘Vista Aeterna’ created by Dutch designer Sabine Marcelis, which will be displayed at Piazza di Spagna from May 19th to June 15th. The installation features twelve travertine-based pillars rotating with reflective mirrors, tracing the sun’s path from dawn to dusk. Bvlgari also introduced the Bvlgari Digital Passport, storing unique characteristics and certificates on the Aura private blockchain for transparency and security.

Bvlgari showcased Aeterna’s unique creations in the Aula X of the Terme di Diocleziano, a 22-meter-tall Roman thermal bath. The Serpenti Aeterna necklace was featured, along with Aeterna key creations inspired by Italian architect Lina Bo Bardi and reinterpretations of architect Giovanni Battista Piranesi’s prints on custom-made tapestries by Venetian weaving Rubelli. The table d’artiste featured high jewellery creations crafted from alabaster, a timeless source of inspiration for Maison’s jewellery collections.
