The two great oases in Northwest Arabia have reopened for the second year to offer a range of varied heritage activities in Khaybar and Tayma. These enchanting historic oasis places will offer visitors and inhabitants both a chance to travel through time and culture being surrounded by some of the region’s most spectacular, yet completely undisturbed, landscapes until early 2024.

Khaybar, known for its volcanic desert habitat and historical significance combines culture, heritage, and nature to create an unforgettable experience. This oasis and its volcanic environment are progressively unveiling their secrets to the world that include cultural displays, adventure activities, music events, and other activities. The activities to look forward in Khaybar include Heritage Tour- one of the oldest areas of human settlement in the Arabian Peninsula, Bedouin Camp offering an immersive look into how people used to live, The Sound of Khaybar Concert with the mesmerising music of the prestigious Saudi National Band at the magical AlRawan Viewpoint, Khaybar Mustatils Helicopter Tour Soar through the skies for a bird’s-eye view of traces of Khaybar’s ancient human habitation, and more.

Tayma, also known as the Land of Kings, known for its heritage is a neighbour oasis to AlUla. It is located along the ancient Incense Route, and has played an important role as a commercial center. Its prominent sites include The Ancient Temple of Salm, Bir Haddaj Well, and more.  The activities to look forward includes Bir Haddaj Re-enactment show an iconic landmark summarises two of its most famous assets, Tayma Heritage Tour, Qasr AlTalaq Visit a two-story building attached to an old mosque date to the 12th century when it served as a residence for the AlTalaq Family.

The tour includes access to a re-enactment show, pop-up performances, the King Nabonidus’ Parade- vibrant educational parade in Tayma and The Palace Guest to experience guests at a traditional celebration featuring drama, music, storytelling, and special effects.
