Tell us about the Atmosphere Core group?
Atmosphere Core, representing Atmosphere Core Private Limited, offers world-class hospitality inspired by the ‘Joy of Giving’ philosophy. Atmosphere Core operates eight resorts in the Maldives within a powerful brand portfolio, comprising The Ozen Collection, Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts, and Colours of Oblu. Atmosphere Core made an announcement of eight remarkable hotels and resorts within two brands i.e. The Ozen Collection and Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts located at Kolkata, Bhopal, Coorge, Goa, Nandi Hills Bangalore and Kannur. The company is poised for strong growth in South Asia, with three The Ozen Collection properties in the pipeline. Ozen Mansion Kolkata, opening in Q2 2024 in India, Ozen Privé Athiri Gili set for Q4 2024 in the Maldives, and Ozen Secluded Tangalle in Sri Lanka.
There are many sustainable operations under the Atmosphere group. Tell us about the initiatives taken by the group?
Atmosphere Core is committed to creating a sustainable future through the efficient use of resources. We ensure conservation, preservation, and restoration of local biodiversity. We are among the leading hospitality companies having one of the largest solar power generation capacities in the Maldives. All our resorts are Green Globe Certified that is the world’s leading certification for sustainable operation and management of travel & tourism industry. We have recently partnered with Lootah Biofuels to introduce environmentally friendly bio fuels, and work towards fostering a circular sustainable economy. With the introduction of the best practices, we step towards becoming a centre for sustainable and circular economy.
Tell us about the expansion plans of the group?
Atmosphere Core has launched in India with a strong promise of twenty-five (25) in 2025, which will include our existing and active pipeline of hotels and resorts in the Indian subcontinent. We have already signed hotel management agreements for eight properties that includes- Ozen Privado Goa, Ozen Nandi Hills Bangalore, Sadar Manzil Heritage By Atmosphere Bhopal, Stillwood Retreat A Signature Atmosphere Coorg, Varsā Elements Of Nature By Atmosphere Kannur, Atmosphere Bhubaneswar and Atmosphere Lake View Kolkata. Atmosphere Core is transforming India by focusing on creative storytelling, exceptional guest experiences, organic growth, sustainable development, and distinctive brand experiences in these properties.
