Turkish Airlines and IndiGo have recommenced their codeshare flights and partnership from 29th June 2022. The codeshare is considered a Bilateral Free Flow Codeshare wherein both the airlines will place their code on the other’s flights. In the 1st phase, both the airlines are vending their tickets, where Turkish Airlines is playing the role of the marketing carrier, and IndiGo the operating carrier.
Currently, Turkish Airlines exercises a daily flight on Delhi-Istanbul and Mumbai- Istanbul routes and IndiGo operates a daily flight on the Delhi-Istanbul route and is also planning to add a second frequency from August 2022. Turkish Airlines will put down its code on trunk route flights operated by 6E on the Delhi-Istanbul route and later from six domestic destinations in India including Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, and Kolkata.
