Kiwi Link India: Strengthening Bilateral Tourism

This year, Kiwi Link, the premier trade show for Tourism New Zealand, triumphantly returned to India, bringing together Indian travel agents and New Zealand travel agencies. Following a five-year break, a group including 41 members from New Zealand’s industry, including airlines, airports, hotels, tour operators, curators, and guides of experiences, convened to re-establish contact with 65 Indian buyers through 1,600 business-to-business (B2B) meetings held on July 10–12.

With the help of this comprehensive platform, New Zealand companies were able to highlight their wide range of products, and Indian travelers learned a great deal about creating unique off-peak travel experiences in New Zealand. To provide Indian travel agents with even more destination familiarity, on July 12th, a thorough frontline product training session was held in person and virtually via a live session that drew over 300 participants.

The tremendous success of Kiwi Link India highlights the strong demand for New Zealand tourism in India and demonstrates a renewed dedication to developing a prosperous bilateral relationship between the two countries.
