All Nippon Airways (ANA) has entered into a partnership with Aamir Khan Productions Pvt. Ltd. for the film Ek Din, set to release on 1 May 2026. This is ANA’s first association with the Indian film industry, aimed at promoting cultural connections between India and Japan.
The airline supported the film’s production with travel arrangements and logistical assistance during its shoot in Hokkaido. Featuring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi, the film highlights popular winter destinations such as Sapporo, Otaru, Asahikawa, and Noboribetsu, along with the iconic Sapporo Snow Festival.
The collaboration also comes as ANA resumes its daily Mumbai–Tokyo (Narita) flights from March 2026, strengthening connectivity between the two countries. Through this initiative, ANA looks to boost interest in Japan as a travel destination while continuing to deliver reliable service and explore future partnerships within the Indian entertainment industry.
Aamir Khan:
“We are delighted to collaborate with All Nippon Airways on this special project. Japan, particularly Hokkaido, offers a unique and visually stunning backdrop for storytelling, and this partnership has made our filming experience seamless and truly memorable. ANA’s exceptional hospitality, reliability, and commitment to excellence have greatly supported our cast and crew throughout the production of “Ek Din”. We hope this film not only entertains audiences but also strengthens cultural ties between India and Japan, inspiring more collaborations in the future.”
