On 26 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Vakhtang Jaoshvili, Ambassador of Georgia to India, hosted a reception at The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi, to commemorate the National Day of Georgia. Shri Sibi George, Secretary (West), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, attended the occasion as the Chief Guest who along with the ambassador commemorated the evening .The evening welcomed members of the diplomatic corps, government officials and distinguished guests highlighting the warm and friendly relations between Georgia and India, founded on mutual respect, cultural exchange and growing avenues of bilateral cooperation.
