On 28th May, India celebrated Africa Day 2025 with a series of events underscoring the deep-rooted ties and shared aspirations between the two regions.
H.E. Mr. Ermindo Augusto Ferreira, Ambassador and the Dean of African Heads of Missions of Mozambique to India, commemorated the event. The Chief Guest of the event was Dr. S. Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister, who addressed dignitaries, diplomats, and members of the African diaspora. H.E. Ms. Jacqueline Mukangira, High Commissioner of the Republic of Rwanda to India was also seen addressing the event.
Many Ambassadors and High Commissioners were seen attending the event.
