On 6th May’25, the High Commission of Malta celebrated 60th anniversary of Malta-India diplomatic relations.
The event was graced by H.E. Tanmaya Lal, Secretary (West), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, who attended as the Chief Guest and reaffirmed the strong partnership between the two nations.
H.E. Reuben Gauci, High Commissioner of Malta to India, accompanied by his spouse Dr. Olga Gauci, welcomed a large gathering of distinguished guests for the Reception which took place at the Vivanta, The TAJ Ambassador Hotel New Delhi.
The evening opened with performances by renowned Maltese pianist and composer Alex Vella Gregory and singer Stjanu Debono, delighting the audience with rich local melodies.
The celebration reflected six decades of friendship, cultural exchange, and growing collaboration between Malta and India.
