On 28th July, the Republic of the Maldives in New Delhi celebrated their 58th Anniversary of Independence and 58th year of Diplomatic Relations between Maldives-India. The event was commemorated by the Chief Guest, V. Muraleedharan, Minister of State for External Affairs. Many Diplomats and other VIPs were seen attending the event.
The local Maldivian artefacts were on display. Besides this, there was an interesting array of local food of Maldives too.
