On 18th May – The Capital witnessed the fourth edition of the Diplomatic Travel Awards 2025, a distinguished celebration of excellence in cultural tourism and diplomacy.

Hitasha Mehra, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of TravelJingles Magazine, warmly welcomed the dignitaries and esteemed guests. The ceremony was graced by Alem Tsehaye Woldemariam, Ambassador of Eritrea and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, as the Chief Guest, alongside Mohamed Maliki, Ambassador of Morocco and Dean of the African countries, who joined as the Guest of Honour.

Acknowledging the challenges of the current travel situation, the evening opened with an insightful open-house discussion on ‘travel during difficult times’, aimed at fostering resilience and strengthening the future of global tourism. This dialogue set the stage for the awards ceremony, which highlighted diverse achievements across the travel fraternity.

The event drew an impressive presence, with representatives from over 40 Heads of Missions attending. Countries represented included Eritrea, Morocco, Estonia, Lithuania, Jordan, Paraguay, Argentina, Panama, Guatemala, Seychelles, Bolivia, Nepal, Denmark, Tanzania, Mongolia, Bhutan, Russia, El Salvador, South Africa, Egypt, Latvia, UK, Comoros, Palau, and many more — underscoring the truly international spirit of the awards.
