On 7 May 2026, the Embassy of Norway in New Delhi hosted a reception to celebrate Norway’s National Day. The National Day, also called Constitution Day, is usually celebrated on 17 May. H.E. Ms. May-Elin Stener, Ambassador of Norway to India, warmly welcomed distinguished guests. Secretary (West) Sibi George represented India as the Chief Guest, highlighting the multifaceted and vibrant partnership between India and Norway. His remarks underscored robust high-level engagements spanning trade and investment, the blue economy, climate action, renewable energy, Arctic research, space collaboration, and cultural exchange.
