There are many fascinating places in Czechia. Visitors usually start in Prague and dive in its old charming streets. The abundance of historical palaces and other sights is astonishing. However, Prague has not only a historical face but boosts of lots of modern architecture, fun places and it is a great spot for families travelling with kids, or sports loving tourists. This is one of the many things Czechs are particularly proud of. Visiting castles with your family as well as other wonders of architecture is one thing we are taught from early childhood. Besides famous Gothic castles such as Karlstejn Castle there are many castles situated in the countryside such as Hluboka or Lednice, which are two neo-Gothic gems. Many Czech castles and chateaux are surrounded with breathtaking gardens or vineyards, so there´s something for everyone.
