On 11 June 2026, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan hosted a reception on the 80th Independence Day celebration in New Delhi. Ambassador Yousef Abdelghani welcomed the guests along with the Chief Guest Anupriya Patel, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare of India.
The event highlighted the mutual respect, trust & shared aspiration for peace and prosperity between Jordan and India.
