Saudi Arabian Airlines welcomes A321XLR aircraft

Saudia, the national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has become the first airline in the Middle East and Africa to welcome the Airbus A321XLR which is the world’s newest extra long-range narrow-body aircraft. The achievement shows the airline’s ongoing transformation strategy and commitment to expanding its global network along with enhancing its efficiency, sustainability, and passenger experience.

The new aircraft also features ‘The New Saudia Experience,’ designed to provide enhanced comfort, connectivity, entertainment, and dining services for travellers. The cabin includes 24 private business class suites and 120 modern guest class seats along with 13-inch entertainment screens and charging ports. Passengers will also enjoy high-speed inflight connectivity. Business class guests can experience personalized dining through Saudia’s inflight chef service. As part of its broader expansion strategy, Saudia plans to add 15 Airbus A321XLR aircraft to its fleet by 2027, supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the country’s growing role in global aviation and tourism.
