On 12th October, the Embassy of Spain in New Delhi hosted a reception to celebrate the National Day of the Kingdom of Spain. The event brought together diplomats, dignitaries and distinguished guests to commemorate the longstanding friendship between India and Spain.
H.E. Mr. Juan Antonio March Pujol, Ambassador of Spain to India, hosted the celebrations. Sibi George, Secretary (West), MEA represented as the Chief Guest. He highlighted the positive trajectory of bilateral relations and reaffirmed India’s commitment to strengthening cooperation in trade and investment, defence and security, culture, tourism and people-to-people exchanges.
The celebrations also marked the India-Spain Dual Year of Culture, Tourism and Artificial Intelligence (AI), commemorating 70 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2026.
