On February 8, 2024, OTM 2024, Asia’s leading travel show at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). The travel show was inaugurated by H.E. Harin Fernando, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism & Land, Sports & Youth Affairs, Sri Lanka, H.E. Ni Made Ayu Marthini, Deputy Minister of Marketing, Ministry of Tourism & Creative Economy, Indonesia, Ms. Anmol Gagan Maan, Hon’ble Tourism Minister, Government of Punjab, and many other dignitaries and diplomats from the global travel and tourism industry.

OTM 2024, widely regarded as the country’s largest and most prominent travel show, lays for an unparalleled event that set new benchmarks in the travel industry. The show’s size has increased by 50 percent since its 2023 iteration. Over 35,000 industry professionals and buyers attend OTM, which feature over 1600 exhibitors from 60 countries and 30 Indian States and Union Territories. OTM help for three days, from February 8th to 10th, emphasizing a commitment to fostering quality networking and connection comprising 35 country pavilions.

OTM 2024 exhibition attracted B2B buyers and sellers due to India’s geopolitical position and high tourist demand. Saudi Arabia’s largest pavilion, Uttarakhand, Kerala, Gujarat, Jammu, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh. The OTM Forum, featuring panel discussions, workshops, and masterclasses, provides a platform for industry experts to discuss trends and strategies in India’s $50 billion travel market.

The thought-provoking inaugural session, titled ‘Is the World Ready for the Indian Traveller? – Tourism Boards’ Perspective,’ featured invaluable insights from esteemed speakers, including H.E. Harin Fernando, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism and Lands, Sports and Youth Affairs, Sri Lanka; Philip Dickinson, Vice President of International Markets, Qatar Tourism; and Ni Made Ayu Marthini, Deputy Minister for Marketing, Ministry of Tourism & Creative Economy, Indonesia. Kamiya Jani, the founder of Curly Tales, moderated the discussion.

OTM 2024, supported by industry associations and media partners, fosters connections in the travel industry by attracting over 300 trade buyers and attracting a diverse audience.
