Madrid expands its cultural offer with new experiences across the city. The Palace Hotel, Madrid introduces three curated routes—Made in Madrid, focusing on the creative scene; Carabanchel: Madrid’s Contemporary Art District, showcasing the city’s emerging art hub; and From The Palace Hotel to the Royal Palace, highlighting historic and architectural heritage. Gaviria Palace reopens with Endless Dalí, a permanent exhibition of Salvador Dalí’s sculptures and drawings. Mercer Hotel Madrid enhances luxury stays including La Sociedad Gastronomika by Eneko Atxa and the Dry Martini cocktail bar by Javier de las Muelas.
Council’s Tourism Department:
Madrid’s tourism council launches the Tourism Intelligence System (SIT) to analyse visitor behaviour and travel flows, alongside Sueña Madrid for urban planning and sustainability. The city promotes its global appeal at IMEX Frankfurt, ranking third in Europe for meetings tourism. It also supports Documenta PRO and strengthens international collaborations, reinforcing Madrid’s position as a leading global tourism and business events destination. Madrid improves global access with a new direct air route to Singapore operated by Singapore Airlines. It is expected to boost long-haul inbound tourism, strengthen Asian market arrivals, and enhance Madrid’s position as a major international air hub.
Monthly Calendar of Events:
Madrid hosts Noches del Botánico, a summer open-air music festival running June–July, featuring international and Spanish artists. The city also debuts the Ñam Ñam Festival on 13–14 June with food, music, and entertainment. Pope Leo XIV visits Madrid from 6 to 9 June with public ceremonies and gatherings. Exhibitions, festivals, and cultural programmes take place across museums and public spaces.
